Youth Business Russia receives an international award

The Youth Business Russia was among the projects nominated for AGFUND International Prize for Pioneering human Development Projects 2011 and has received praise from the Members of the Prize Committee. The Prize Committee, which includes the Founder of Grameen Bank Muhammad Yunus, recommended that AGFUND shall study the possibility of supporting the project in recognition of the role it plays in increase incomes of youth between ages of 18 and 35 in regions of Russia.

Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz, President of the Arab Gulf Programme for Development "AGFUND" announced a support of $ 50 thousand dollars for YBR. The programme aims to improve the policy environment for small business through replicable best practice and stimulating entrepreneurship among young people through building their capacities to increase their income.

It is worth mentioning that the AGFUND, which provides developmental support to the developing countries and communities without discrimination, has already supported projects in several countries in Eastern Europe.
