Young entrepreneurs around the world have the potential to create millions of jobs and bring prosperity to local communities.

After four years of global downturn, it has never been more important for us to take advantage of this opportunity.

But it is clear that current efforts to help young entrepreneurs are simply not enough. Millions of young unemployed people around the world have the potential to start their own business and create jobs for others – but are unable to because of a lack of effective support for them.

As a result, their great ideas and potential are being wasted – a tragic loss for society.

To help address this problem, Youth Business International will be hosting a four day summit with some of the world’s leading experts in youth entrepreneurship.

Bringing together around 300 people from 50 countries, the event will aim to demonstrate the solutions to the challenge of youth entrepreneurship are available.

The theme of the event will be “Business as unusual” – reflecting the disruptive nature of entrepreneurship as well as the significant shifts that need to happen before we can achieve our task.
